Do a test drive for our troops (updated)

***************************** There'll be an easy and fun way for area residents to support our troops on September 10.

You're invited to be part of Highland Ford's Great Northern Round Up.

The event is Drive One 4 UR Community.  

Highland Ford has chosen to do the 1st event of this kind in Canada that contributes to the Military Families Fund.  

And a special exception has been made in order to try to raise $10,000.  

All participants need to do is drive a car and Highland Ford and Ford donate the money.  

That's right - you drive the car and Ford donates the money ($20 per drive).  

It's really a no brainer.  

Finally an event that doesn't cost the participants any money.

By taking a test drive, event participants will help raise money to assist Canadian Forces members and their families.

The local event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Highland Ford.  

There will also be a B-B-Q, local troops on hand, veterans, and a Ford classic car show, that will include all Mustangs regardless of year.  

So if you have a cool Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury ride, bring it down to help support our troops.

Participants doing test drives must be over 18 and have a valid driver's license, one per household.
